This charming old cottage was built c.250 years ago and once part of Lowfold Farm. With its thick stone walls and old beams, it's a perfect environment to base yourself in the quaint old village of Ambleside.
Situated halfway between the village and the lake on the old original road into Ambleside, it is a much quieter option than the busy A591 that runs through the village.
In the summer months you can relax on our patio or, when the nights draw in, come into the sitting room and enjoy the warmth of our real fire. We also have private parking facilites and a bike lock-up. Glenside is exclusively non-smoking. |
